Sea freight stands at £1,250.00 per cubic metre (£50,000 per 40ft container on the Drewry WCI), down 10.4% versus a year ago, while Brent crude trades at £67.67 per barrel and WTI crude at £62.73 per barrel. UK transport charges rose 1.2% versus a year ago, according to the official road-haulage price index as of Q1 2026.
